This role is responsible for evaluating sales performance, margin, inventory turn, and gross margin return on inventory. The Buyer will place future and weekly fill-in orders and manage customer special orders. In addition this position is responsible for ensuring that core products and sizes are always available. The Buyer will also work with vendors to process returns.

This role is also responsible for creating markdown strategies and communicating this with our marketing director, online webstore manager and retail store managers. This position includes planning assortments, working with industry sales representatives, and working collaboratively with all store managers. In addition all product launches need to be communicated along with product education for staff.

Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills are required.


  • Retail, inventory and buying experience required.
  • Degree in retail management or merchandising is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and, deadline driven.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work as a team member, multitask and give clear direction.
  • Builds rapport and relationships both internally and externally with Store Owners, Managers, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Vendors.

  • $20-$30/hour depending on experience for part-time
