We’re a locally owned running store with four locations in Southeast Wisconsin: Brookfield, Delafield, Milwaukee’s Third Ward, and Shorewood. We carry a wide selection of running, walking, and fitness footwear, apparel, and accessories to help keep you moving comfortably.
Named one of the Top 50 Running Stores in the country by The Running Event, we pride ourselves on friendly service and a strong sense of community. Our team will guide you through a personalized fitting process, including a gait analysis, to help you find the right shoe for your needs.
We also love getting the community together through our weekly group runs. Stop in, find your perfect gear, and join us on the roads!

Performance Running Outfitters was founded by long-time runners, coaches, and partners, Jessica and Trae Hoepner.
In 2006, Jessica took a leap, quit her job, and set out to build a running store. What began as boxes of shoes and big ideas at her kitchen table soon turned into the first Performance Running Outfitters store in Brookfield.
20 years later, Jess and Trae are running four stores and continuing to support, connect, and inspire the Milwaukee running community every single day.
